Starting on May 7th Marie and Richard will be setting off from Wallsend at the East end of Hadrian’s wall, and walking to Bowness-on-Solway. A total of 134 kilometers across some of the most beautiful countryside in the UK (and through Newcastle!). We hope you feel able to support them on that journey.
Taken from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Durham website:
“As a Province we have, for so many years, been recipients of tremendous support from RMTGB. In each and every year we receive well in excess of £100,000, to support needy children of distressed or deceased Brethren. The support these families receive varies in so many ways, but are fundamentally used to improve the education and preparation for adult life in the years ahead. Without such support, many of these children would be missing out on essential ways of improving their lot in life.”
The special care unit provides round-the-clock care for newborn babies who are ill or born prematurely.
